‘What I say and What I Mean’ is catchy, it’s toe-tapping and it’s mundane. As the new breed of commercial indie threatens to takeover over the world with its top 40 potential, so we have this offering from The Like: a perfectly nice song from three perfectly pleasant ladies. But female singers should be angry and have issues, not pretty. And, put simply, this is pretty boring. Oh and apparently they all have famous connections, we’re not into gossip and you shouldn’t be either, so we’ll leave it there.
