Diesel-U-Music Awards Start Their Annual Search

The Diesel-U-Music Awards has begun its annual search for the purveyors of the best new music in the UK.

Bands can now apply online via the official website, diesel-u-music.com, and have until June 25 to put themselves forward for the prestigious gongs.

Previous winners across the three genres of Rock, Electronic and Urban/Hip Hop include the likes of Tom Vek, Mylo, We Are Scientists, The Pistolas and DJ Yoda.

All the entrants will be whittled down to nine finalists, three from each category, and they will be flogging their wares on the road this summer until three UK finalists are left.

They will be then joined fifteen other acts from around the world with the final winners of the wards being announced in London in October.

Outstanding Contribution To Music and Lifetime Achievement Awards will also be given out to as yet unknown recipients.
