Former MC5 star Michael Davis is in hospital after becoming involved in motorcycle accident on Monday (May 8).
The bassist was riding his Harley Davidson down a Los Angeles freeway when he hit a large exhaust ‘muffler’ which dropped from a vehicle in front.
Davis suffered a fractured spine, bruised ribs and several abrasions after falling from his bike. Fortunately he was wearing a crash helmet and is expected to recover.
Davis was due to perform at the Joey Ramone Birthday Bash in New York on Friday (May 12), but this is expected to be changed.
