Damon Albarn has joked that he would like to work with Liam Gallagher on new Gorillaz material.
The Gorillaz lynchpin made the unlikely revelation despite the decade of animosities there’s been between Blur and Oasis.
He told the Daily Mirror: “I'd love him to be on the next Gorillaz record, but let's wait and see how his band does in the next 12 months. I'm sure he'll be all right on his own - he doesn't really need me.
"Gorillaz isn't really a band any more. We're making a feature film, so the next bit of Gorillaz music will be a film score. That's the whole point - get people together in surprising circumstances."
