Radiohead will not release a new album in 2006 it has been revealed despite the fact they have been working on new material for the past few months.
The news was announced in the bands press release for their upcoming North America tour, which is set for next month.
It simply states: "There are no plans for a Radiohead album release any time in 2006."
Thom Yorke and co will head over the Atlantic and kick off the jaunt in Philadelphia on June 1 before playing a further seventeen dates.
According to Pitchfork the "set lists for the shows will draw heavily on the newer material the band has been working on over the past months.”

Philadelphia, Tower Theatre - June 1-2
Boston, Bank Of America Pavilion - 4-5
Toronto, Hummingbird Centre - 7-8
Montreal, Place Des Arts - 10-11
New York, Madison Square Garden - 13-14
Chicago, Auditorium Theatre - 19-20
Berkley, Greek Theatre - 23-24
San Diego, Bayside - 26-27
Los Angeles, Greek Theatre - 29-30
