Hard-Fi have been forced to axe a string of their American tour dates after Richard Archer was struck down with a serious throat infection.
The cancelled dates include their performance at the Coachella Festival this weekend.
Speaking on the festival’s website, Archer said: "I am deeply frustrated by the problem I'm having with my throat.
“We were so looking forward to hitting the States again at the end of the month, and especially looking forward to playing the Coachella festival, but unfortunately it's just not possible at this time. We'll be back in June and plan to make up for it."
The band are expected to resume their worldwide tour as soon as Archer has made a full recovery.
The upcoming axed dates are as follows:
Sacramento Boardwalk – April 27
San Francisco Slim's - 28
Coachella Music & Arts Festival - 29
