Snoop Dogg Arrested After Stand Off With Police

US rapper Snoop Dogg was arrested at Heathrow airport last night after in an incident involving 20 police men and police dogs.

The rapper was travelling from London to Johannesberg where he was scheduled to perform at a series of music events across South Africa.

Snoop was travelling with a 50 strong entourage, the majority of whom were travelling in economy class.

It was when the economy class passengers attempted to enter the BA Business class lounge that the trouble began.

After members of Snoop’s group were turned away from the prestigious lounge they allegedly became abusive towards staff after which Snoop lost it and champagne bottles started to be thrown about.

A witness told the Mirror: “It was absolute chaos – there was broken glass everywhere and it looked like it was on the brink of turning really nasty. It wasn’t clear what sparked it but Snoop was livid.

Snoop “was having a go at them, (his minders) swearing and being really abusive.

“Police were there in a flash, swarming in from all directions ith their truncheons at the ready. After a stand off they were all led away.”

Members of the group, including Snoop were then arrested and taken away.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police were alerted to a disturbance. Police attempted to direct the group to baggage reclaim. Members of the group them became aggressive and pushed officers.

“Five men were arrested for violent disorder and affray. All are in custody at a West London police station.”

Seven officers were injured in the incident; they mainly suffered cuts and bruises, with one sustaining a fractured hand.
