The Duke Spirit have had their gear stolen while in tour in America, throwing the tour into jeopardy.
The band cancelled last night’s show in Seattle after their van was broken into in Portland, Oregan on Sunday night (April 23).
Two guitars, a bass, cymbals, amps and pedals were all amongst the items taken from the van. The band are asking fans to keep an eye out for the instruments on internet auction sites.
They are due to play in Las Vegas later this week and at Coachella at the weekend, but are unsure whether these gigs will go ahead.
The band released a statement saying:
"This morning between 5am and 8.30 am our van was broken into in the "secure, with security guard" car park of the Doug Fir Lonuge hotel and venue in Portland, Oregon.
The following stuff was stolen, leaving us broke, sad and not really able to play tonight or at all for that matter. If you kindred spirits out there could keep an eye on Ebay to see if these stolen things appear, then let us know, and in the mean time if you are from Portland/Seattle area and want to donate gear for a performance we would be truly blessed.
