Coldplay have received three nominations at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards for their album ‘Speed Of Sound’.
They lead 2006’s list of nominees that includes Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz, KT TUnstall, Kaiser Chiefs, Robbie Williams and James Blunt.
‘Speed Of Sound’ has been nominated for International Hit of the Year and Most Performed Work while the song ‘Fix You’ is up for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.
The awards will be presented at Grovesnor House, London on May 25, the full list of nominations can be viewed here.
