The Test Icicles played their last ever gig at London’s Astoria last night – and released a clutch of black balloons to mark the occasion.
The three piece played a dozen songs as they bade farewell to their fans – who were invited to invade the stage and smash up the band’s equipment.
Ten black balloons were released half-way through the set, and ‘Test Icicles RIP’ were distributed to punters.
A nostalgic Rory Atwell took time to tell the crowd that the Astoria was the same venue where he saw The Smashing Pumpkins when he was 14.
