T in the Park organisers have rubbished rumours that the festival may be cancelled as a result of Bird Flu.
Press claims since the discovery of an infected mute swan 35km from the festival site at Balado suggested that the event was to be scrapped.
However, a spokesperson for the festival confirmed that it is definitely still going ahead as planned.
She said: "As avian influenza is a disease of birds and not humans, we can confirm that there is no threat of T In The Park being cancelled or moved.”
"Any safety measures being put in place by the Scottish Executive related to avian influenza are designed to limit movement of birds and not people in accordance with the EC agreed measures.”
This year’s festival features the likes of The Who, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Franz Ferdinand.
