Bright Eyes are reportedly planning to return with a new album in spring 2007 and have a host of songs to chose from.
The three piece, currently made up of Conor Oberst, Nate Walcott and Mike Mogis, have 25-30 songs to work with according to a spokesman.
They told Billboard that the band plan to whittle them down to between 10 and 12 over the next year before releasing the as yet unnamed long player.
Apparently they have already recorded basic demos of the tracks at sessions in Portland and New York and plan to return for a third in Omaha in the next few weeks.
