Damon Albarn has hinted that ‘Demon Days’ may be the last album that Gorillaz make.
The singer was speaking after the fourth night of their five day residency in New York when he admitted that Gorillaz are probably at their peak now and may never be able to top their current situation.
Albarn told 6music: "At the moment we're like, that's probably the last album we make, I don't think we could make a better album than ‘Demon Days’ really, for what this is and how it works."
The band were joined by all the album guests last night, including for the first time Hollywood legend Dennis Hopper for his words on ‘Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey’s Head.’
