Pete Doherty: I'm The New John Lennon

Pete Doherty has compared himself to John Lennon.

The Babyshambles star was speaking to reporters after a show at an Austrian Porn Club.

He reportedly blathered: “The new Lennon — I like that. Honestly, I am the most important rock star now.

“And you will hear lots of great songs from me in the near future.”

Right. He also revealed in the interview that he plans to marry his on-off girlfriend Kate Moss this autumn.

He added: “We are going to marry. It’s going to happen at a Scottish castle somewhere between September and November.

“A posh Scottish castle. That’s gonna be so cool.”
