Wrinkly rockers The Rolling Stones are playing their most corporate gig yet – they’re opening for the G8 summit in Russia.
The veterans are playing St Petersburg on 13 July, as the leaders of the world’s leading nations arrive for the annual G8 summit, which takes place in Russia’s second city on 15 to 17 of July.
The Stones will play to 60,000 capacity Kirov stadium, which is due for demolition following the gig.
It is not known whether Russian authorities plan to involve anti-capitalist protestors to help them tear the stadium down.
