Popstar Michael Jackson is facing yet more problems - he's being sued by himself.
A group of people sharing the singer's name have grouped together to launch a civil suit against the star, claiming Jackson's much publicised troubles has made them embarrassed of their own name and caused them to be marginalized in the social and work lives.
Michael Jackson is the fifth most common name in America, and the group of Michael Jacksons - who started their campaign after contacting each other on the internet - believe they can successfully make a case that the Earth Song star has denigrated their identity.
Michael Jackson, 39, the main spokesperson for the Michael Jackson Group (MJG) - who number 69 in total - says, "I've had to suffer constant jokes for decades, but in past years, as Mr Jackson has been involved in more and more controversy the joking has got more serious and vicious.
"When I meet people for the first time and tell them my name they don't take me seriously anymore. It is very upsetting. I also believe I have failed to get several jobs because my name now carries negative connotations which have prejudiced my potential employers."
One of the Jacksons' lawyers, who plans to file the case in the California courts, A.F. Fish Jnr, says, "It's an untried area in law, but I believe my clients have a case."
Michael Jackson could not be contacted for comment.

Oh jeese get over ur self. It’s not his fault that u have his same name. And don’t sue him for it either. To make all things fair, he is older so he wins. That’s just stupid and imature, just to sue him because u have his same name. Grow up!
