Morrisey has confirmed he will play this years Glastonbury festival, and the Carling Reading and Leeds weekend.
In an interview with Teletext’s PS News service, the ex-Smiths frontman confirmed that he will play at all three events, as well as appearing at and hosting the Meltdown Festival.
He will play three nights at the Royal Festival Hall, with Franz Ferdinand The Libertines and the remaining members of the New York Dolls.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Morrissey will release his new album ‘You Are The Quarry’, the first album release in seven years, on May 17. Single ‘Irish Blood, English Heart’, will be released on May 10.
