The Streets’ Mike Skinner has found Robbie Williams a source of inspiration to help him get through his difficult times.
Skinner who’s publicly revealed his drug and alcohol problems sees many parallels between himself and Williams brought on by celebrity life.
Reflecting on his new song ‘When You Wasn’t Famous’ which focuses on gold-diggers and users, Skinner said: “What you’re seeing in Robbie Williams’ eyes is that he’s tested all women and all have failed.
“When you’re famous you get given these X-Ray specs and you see everyone’s flaws – your own included.”
According to the Star, Skinner has also been reading Williams’ biography recently and drawing from that.
