Eighties pop icons A-Ha are the latest act to be added to Liverpool’s Summer Pops Festival.
The hunky Scandinavian trio will play on July 16, and join modern pop giants including Westlife, Ronan Keating and the Sugababes at the annual series of gigs at the city’s dock area.
Chiselled vocalist Morten Harket can hardly contain his excitement at the prospect, gushing, “We're really excited about this show! It will be a real celebration!"
Blues legends Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy have also been added to the bill, performing together on July 12.
Former Yardbirds star Beck is looking forward to tapping into Liverpool’s unique musical vibe, saying, “Playing a legendary musical city like Liverpool with a music legend like Buddy is going to be very special!"
