Phil Spector’s murder trial has been postponed for six months until September 11 at the request of both the prosecutors and defence.
A Judge in New York agreed to the delay because of scheduling conflicts between the prosecutors and defence lawyers.
An initial date of April 24 had been set for the trial according to the BBC, Spector is accused of shooting actress Lana Clarkson in February 2003.
Spector appeared at the hearing with two bodyguards, he denies the charges saying she committed suicide.
