Morrissey Clones Support Morrissey On Tour

The Boyfriends have been confirmed as support for Morrissey on his upcoming European tour.

The band, who’s front man sounds almost identical to Mozza himself, will play ten dates with the former Smiths singer.

As previously reported on Gigwise Morrissey checked out the London four piece last month at the Metro and was obviously impressed.

“Being asked to do these shows”, comments lead singer Martin Wallace, “is a bit like someone stepping out of a poster on your bedroom wall and shaking your hand.”

The Boyfriends release their second single ‘Adult Acne’ via Boobytrap Records on May 8.
