Liverpudlians Voo are proud purveyors of ‘melodic guitar pop’, and debut On The Return single aims to show off their faith in such wholesome virtues. However, the song seems to be a little light on the pop bit, which unfortunately undermines the whole premise somewhat. Flipside Made Simple is a more upbeat affair, but appears to be about how crap the British weather is – and you can’t get much wetter than that.
