Hand-written John Lennon lyric sheets have failed to sell at an auction in New York.
The lyrics for ‘A Day In The Life’ were expected to fetch a whopping $1.5million at the Bonhams auction house.
But after they failed to reach their reserve price they were withdrawn from the auction.
A Bonhams spokesman told the BBC: "It's a reality in our business but we're certainly disappointed.
"We wish we were jumping on the rooftops yelling about the sales prices."
