Two people arrested after two stewards were shot outside a Brimingham Kanye West concert, have been released.
A 21-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were held after Tuesday’s incident. The condition of the most severely injured steward, who was shot in the face, is said to be improving.
No charges have been brought against the man and woman, but police are still looking for another male suspect. He is described as black, between 18-22, with a moustache and plaited hair.
The gunman fired the shots when he was escorted from the NEC for not having a ticket for the Kanye gig, hitting one steward three times, including in the face.
The BBC confirm that the police are treating the case as attempted murder, but stress it is not a gang-related incident.
