Madonna, David Bowie and Snoop Dogg are lending their voices to ‘Arthur and the Minimoys’a live-action/ computer-animated fantasy feature based on a popular French children’s book.
The story pivots around 10-year-old Arthur (Freddie Higmore from Charlie and the Chocolate factory), who tries to save his grandmother (Mia Farrow’s) home by hunting out his grandfather’s treasure in the land of the petit Minimoys.
Here he meets Princess Selenia (Madge), Max (Snoop Dogg) and the wicked ruler Malthazar (Bowie). Oo it sounds like Labyrinth all over again, lets hope Bowie dons another pair of tights to emphasise his knackers…
Reuters report that director Luc Besson has spent more than 3 years working on the film, which will be distributed by Weinstein and Co.
