Legendary Pink Floyd vocalist and guitarist, David Gilmour, has admitted that he was offered a fortune to tour after the band spectacularly reformed to perform at last year’s Live 8 event.
And he insists that promoters were so keen to snap up the artist - that they weren’t bothered whether or not bandmate Roger Waters, who Gilmour has notoriously had a troubled relationship with, was on board. He is quoted on breaking news saying:
"We were offered a lot of money to go on tour. And I did turn it down.”
"The offer was made to tour with a lot of money, and it was with or without Roger.”
That’s sure to get the two back on friendly terms…
