Brighton based duo Blood Red Shoes will not doubt somewhere along the line be sued for causing serious ear drum and brain damage to their fans, but for now we’ll just sit back and admire the shear simplicity of their infernal racket. 'Stitch Me Back' is a swampy dirge of immense proportions that pounds away at your skull with an incessant racket of pounding riffs and drum thrashing, nothing too complicated just a primordial mix of grunge and incessant pop-punk sludge. ‘Meet Me At Eight’ plays around a call and response routine between our pair of thunderous pugilists, urgent riffs from Laura -Mary plough through drummer Steven’s ever more agitated beats.
