John Peel’s official biography is set up for a top book award.
Margrave of the Marshes was partially written by John and completed by his wife after he died in October 2004.
It was released late last year, after a string of unofficial biographies were released cashing in on the legendary DJ's death.
It faces competition from the likes of JK Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince’, Sharon Osbourne’s autobiography and ‘The World According To Jeremy Clarkson’ in the WHS Smiths Book of the Year ceremony.
