Whilst such a claim is quite obviously sacrilege (everyone knows Katie Melua is the new Brain Wilson), 'Key Of C' – with its lazy, West Coast melodies layered over a crisp drumbeat - evokes happy memories of The Beta Band before they went crap, which is almost as big a compliment.
