Kitsch icon Leo Sayer has topped the singles charts - the remix of his song Thunder In My Heart Again has gone straight in at number one.
Meck’s dance reworking of Sayer’s tune knocked The Notorious B.I.G.’s posthumous effort Nasty Girl from the top spot.
The Ordinary Boy’s re-release of Boys Will Be Boys stays at number three as singer Preston’s romance with Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton continues to make the headlines.
Their fellow CBB contestant Pete Burns stays at number five with another re-release, Dead Or Alive’s You Spin Me Round.
Another yet another song re-released umpteen times before, You Got The Love by Source and Candi Statton, is a new entry at number seven.
Good to see new talent is still thriving in the charts.
The Arctic Monkey’s After The Sun Goes Down dropped eight places to number 16. Bullet For My Valentine’s new entry All These Things I Hate charted at number 29, and El Presidente’s Turn This Thing Around scraped in at number 39.
