Test Icicles have stepped in to quell rumours that are to split by announcing new tour dates - but their future after those dates is still uncertain.
Having spoke to several independent reliable sources earlier today, Gigwise broke the news that the band are contemplating calling it a day. Now it seems they’ve delayed their demise by at least another month.
They will now play five dates in April and have announced plans to release an as yet unnamed single.
Rory Aggwelt said of the split talk: "We are on a sold-out UK tour then onto sold-out dates in Europe and America with a new single and UK tour in April."
However, he did leave the future of the band after the dates open by adding: "Maybe we'll do some festies, after that who knows, depends if anyone's still interested!"
The dates are:
Glasgow, Garage – April 18
Sunderland, Manor Quay – 19
Manchester, Academy 2 – 20
Coventry, Colleseum – 21
London, Astoria - 22
