A film is being compiled to honour the life of the late-great Joe Strummer.
The Julian Temple directed documentary will be made up of archive audio and video footage, interviews with Journalists those close to Joe, plus exerpt’s from Strummer’s radio show.
The clash’s Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, producer Rick Rubin plus members of Strummer’s other bands The Mascaleros and the 101ers will all be contributing.
Julian Temple told billboard.com: "We didn't have a memorial concert or anything for him. So this is something that I wanted to do. Three years on, it's easier for me and all the people involved to deal with it actually."
Joe Strummer of course died of a heart defect in December 2002.
