Hard-Fi frontman Richard Archer has admitted that he’s a bit baffled by the nomination process for the Brits.
Archer is shocked that Girls Aloud and Sugababes weren’t nominated for best pop act, and thinks that Hard-Fi were put into the wrong category.
He said: "I'm not really a pop fan but when it's done right it's good.
"Girls Aloud and Sugababes both do it well so it's a bit of a surprise they aren't in the pop act selection when Blunt and Melua are. They should be.
"It’s good that Madge is in there as she makes decent pop records but how they put the nominations together is a bit of a mystery.
”We're up for Best Group but not Breakthrough Act, when last year was the one in which we actually broke through."
Aren’t you also up for best rock act?!
