DMX has signed a new record deal and confirmed he will be back with a new album this summer.
The rapper who recently spent time behind bars for a series of motoring offences, called a press conference in New York yesterday (January 13) and confirmed his comeback.
He’s now signed to Sony Urban Music/Columbia Records where his career started over a decade ago.
Holding a puppy pitbull terrier DMX told reporters: It's an honor to be back at a record label that feels like home. When I first went to Def Jam it was like a dream come true.
”It was a blessing because I was invited to a home. Then they sold the house on me and left me with people I didn't know that didn't give a **** about me."
His sixth album is due in the summer.
