Holland's Eurosonic Festival Kicks Off

Eurosonic, Europe's big music industry fest kicked off in style last night in a medieval church in Groningen in the Netherlands.

Over 200 bands are playing at the festival from all over Europe, with Britain being represented on the opening night by The Research, The Kooks, Mohair, The Brakes and a blinding set from Clor.

More than 2200 industry professionals are attending the event, in the hope of bringing the European music industry closer together.
