Sonic Youth have started recording their new album in New York.
The legendary band are eyeing up a 2006 release for the album and have been working on a number of tracks including ‘Pink Steam’, ‘Or’, ‘Sleeping Around’ and ‘Do You Believe In Rapture?’
The as-yet-untitled album is the follow up to 2004’s ‘Sonic Nurse’ and is being recorded at the Sear Sound Studio where they recorded earlier albums such as ‘Sister’.
