It all seems to come so so easy for the Arctic Monkeys, what with breezing straight to number 1 with their debut single, now they say recording their debut album was a piece of piss too.
The Sheffield four piece release ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ on January 30 and say the recording was pretty straight forward.
They told the BBC: "It seemed quite a straight-forward process. We knew the order of the songs that we were going to put them in, and just recorded them in that order."
"It wasn't really that difficult. A lot of them seemed like old songs anyway."
They also revealed that they plan to release several of the tracks for a series of remixes.
