
So you can’t quite afford to fly all the way to Texas for South By South West, well you needn’t worry for the annual Nooderslag/Eurosonic festival, industry schmooz-athon is back again in January.
Now in its 20th year of predetermining which bands from across the continent will be big in the coming 12 months this years event features a host of hotly tipped British bands.
The likes of Kubb, Duels, Telex, King Creosote and Adem will be making the short journey across the channel to play sets for assembled label chiefs and music journos between January 12 -14.
Radio 1 is getting in on the act to broadcast a two hour show on the Sunday night featuring live music, with more material being played by Huw Stephens and Rob Da Bank at a later date.
With over 180 bands playing live and 14,200 visitors it looks like being the biggest year of Nooderslag so far. Check out the full line up and more information on the event here.
