Despite widespread reports, Hard-Fi have announced that they are definitely not playing at the Carling New Kings Event in London next month.
Richard Archer and co. were reported as playing alongside The Magic Numbers and Graham Coxon at the event. But now the band have refuted these claims.
A statement said: "Contrary to stories earlier this week, Hard-Fi will not be playing at the Carling New Kings event in London on 12th January 2006.
“The band were never confirmed to take part in the event and are unable to play due to other commitments.”
Hard-Fi sold-out their London Hammersmith Palais show on February 13 within hours.
