Chris Evans To Host The 2006 Brit Awards

Carrot topped TV presenter Chris Evans has been officially confirmed as the host of next year’s Brit Awards.

It will be the fourth time Evans has hosted the awards ceremony – previously doing it in 1995, 1996 and earlier this year.

He told reporters: "I'm absolutely thrilled, it's my fourth time, so I should be getting good at it now."

The British Phonographic Industry hands out the awards at the ceremony, and their chairman Peter Jamieson said: "We're delighted to have Chris back. His genuine love of music and special brand of humour make him an ideal choice to present the Brits."

The Brit Awards 2006 are hosted at Earls Court London on February 15. They’re screened on ITV a day later.
