Snoop Dogg has been named as the executive producer for the American satellite network XM’s hip hop show The Rhyme. The rapper already hosts a slot on the show, but has now been propelled to bigger and better things.
Snoop – real name Calvin Broadus – has pledged to improve the show and promote new music and classic songs.
He told reporters: "I am truly excited about being able to have total control over the music and programming for The Rhyme."
