Pete Doherty has been stopped and searched yet again by police.
The Babyshambles frontman was pulled up by two coppers as he walked out of a drugs paraphernalia shop in Soho yesterday.
However, this time the police found nothing and after Pete played them a quick tune on his guitar they let him carry on with his day.
It marks a change from last week when Doherty was stopped in his car after driving erratically and police allegedly found a crack pipe and three wraps of cocaine belonging to Pete.
Despite having the threat of prosecution hanging over him for this incident, Pete escaped formal charges over illicit substances apparently found in his tour bus in Shrewsbury on October 1.
Detective Sergeant Jason Wells said: "A man arrested in Shrewsbury on 1 October on suspicion of a drugs offence will not be prosecuted."
