A new book charting the rise and fall of The Libertines is set to be released in the New Year.
Entitled ‘The Libertines: Bound Together’ the book has been written by Anthony Thornton and Roger Sargent over three and a half years and claims to chart "The story of Pete Doherty and Carl Barat and how they changed British Culture" (eh?).
Thornton and Sargent spent time with the band taking pictures and forging friendships with the members from the very beginning and have now created what is being labelled as the definitive history of The Libertines.
The book is released on February 23.
