US Blues Rockers, The Black Keys have had to cancel their UK and European tour this week, citing exhaustion as the reason.
The Ohio duo, featuring guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, have postponed their visit to the UK because they're feeling run down and fear they will sound rundown if they go ahead with the tour. They've been gigging constantly since their album 'Thickfreakness' came out in April of this year.
It seems that months on the road have finally taken their toll.
The group apologised to fans in a statement by saying: "We feel it best to postpone our dates until we feel fit and ready to hit the road again." The group will reschedule their dates for early next year.
Postponed dates this week include:
Mon 17th Nov - Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms
Tue 18th Nov - Manchester Academy 3
Wed 19th Nov - Leeds Cockpit
Thu 20th Nov - Glasgow King Tuts Wah Wah Hut
Fri 21st Nov - Northumbria University
Sat 22nd Nov - London Mean Fiddler
Sun 23rd Nov - Bristol Fleece & Firkin
