Ed Sheeran has celebrated turning 26 today with the release of the third track from Divide, 'How Would You Feel (Paean)'.
It's his birthday, he'll release a song if he wants to - and fans have been given the gift of the slow-burning love song from Sheeran's fast-approaching new record.
Fans worldwide are sure to be swooning over the hearfelt number, which includes the lyrics: "How would you feel/If I told you I loved you/It's just something that I want to do/I'm taking my time, spending my life/Falling deeper in love with you/So tell me that you love me too.”
Prior to its, the singer took to Twitter to tell fans that the new track is one of his favourite cuts from Divide, though it is not the next official single.
'How Would You Feel (Paean)' follows the double single drop of 'Castle On The Hill' and 'Shape Of You'. The single releases smashed the record for most streams on Spotify in a single day. 'Shape Of You' gained 6,868,642 streams, with 'Castle On The Hill' clocking-up 6,168,395 in the first 24 hours. We're sure the new release will soon catch up.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran recently added a third O2 Arena show to his massive UK tour, which kicks off next month. Sheeran is also heavily rumoured to top the bill at Glastonbury Festival.
Divide will be released March 3.
