Secret Machines have revealed that their second album, ‘Ten Silver Drops’, will be released by next March.
The band have been writing the album since January and have spent recent months recording the long-player at the Allaire Studios in New York.
The eight track album will be preceded by the single ‘Alone, Jealous and Stoned’ in late January.
The trio teamed up with Garth Hudson from The Band for the track ‘I Want To Know If It’s Still Possible’.
Speaking about the collaboration Secret Machines vocalist Brandon Curtis told billboard: "At first he sat down on the Hammond. He was playing really beautifully, but I don't think anybody was thinking it was really working.
"We took a break and he came back and picked up the accordion. We wound up running it through a remodulator and a low-pass filter and really kind of freaking it out."
Secret Machines are playing alongside TV on the Radio and Annie at New York’s Webster Hall on December 1.
