The Darkness Use 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Piano
Justin HawkinsJustin Hawkins has admitted that a piano used on the band’s new album was used by Freddie Mercury on Queen’s seminal ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

Speaking about the long-player, Hawkins said that his favourite song was ‘English Country Garden’  for a very special reason.

He said: “The piano you listen to is actually the same piano that was played on ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ by Freddie Mercury.

“I’m playing all the synthesisers and it’s got my favourite guitar solo of all I’ve done.”

Elsewhere in the interview with Virgin Radio Hawkins admitted that the band are getting no shortage of cash thrown at them, which has enabled them to do their own thing.

He continued: “They plough money into us and let us get on with things, so it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to try everything.”
