The Strokes have embarked on their first tour of the year and are said to be coming to Europe this month for a secret tour.
The band began in Brazil last week, giving fans snippets from their upcoming third album 'First Impressions Of Earth'.
Taking to the stage in front of 4,000 fans in Rio de Janeiro's Museum of Modern Art, they played five of their new songs in total as part of a set that included 23 of their songs (well they are generally quite short).
The new songs played were 'Juicebox', 'Heart In A Cage', 'You Only Live Once', 'Razor Blade' and 'Hawaii Aloha', while they also played modern classics such as 'Hard To Explain', 'Reptilia', '12:51' and 'Last Nite'.
Further dates in South America have been confirmed, but it has now been revealed that they will head to Australia and then to Europe for a series of smaller gigs - one of which will take place in London.
Sources have said that the London date would most likely take place in November, with tickets likely to be given away to competition winners.
