Ozzy Osbourne and his legendary band Black Sabbath are set to be inaugurated into the UK Music Hall of Fame later this month.
As previously reported, also receiving the industry back-slapping award are Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, New Order, The Kinks and The Who, while John Peel will be an honorary member.
Ozzy Osbourne said of being the latest addition: “For once in my life I'm speechless, but very happy and honoured," reports The Sun.
This year’s event takes place at The Alexandra Palace, London on November 16.
