going on the theory of there being big headliners from each of the 4 decades, here's what i'd like to see...

70s - led zep (danger! could well be crap like the who were in 07)
80s - waterboys ("proper" glastonbury band)
90s - orbital (same as the waterboys - a proper fezzy experience)
00s - sigur ros (needs to be excessively loud and start around 2am for maximum effect)

plus give me the usual billy bragg, tony benn, mark thomas, phill jupitus, keith allen experiences, throw in a couple of pilton porkers, loads of cider and some fiendish narcotics and i won't really care ;o) ...but if i was in the rabbit hole around 5am watching the fabulous penetrators and the ghostly form of joe strummer and ian dury arrived for an impromptu set i'd probably die a happy man.

I'd be extremely surprised if the Stones play.
Having said that, they played the Isle of Wight a few years ago no?
Everyone should go and see the Stones anyway. On a good night the best live band you're ever likely to see.... better than Maiden.

Are they fuck better than Maiden. I've seen em' both and Maiden kick their arse!

Still, would like to see the Stones at Glasto.

I want the following: Flaming Lips, Sigur Ros, Muse and Manowar.

As for the Pilton Porkers- half an hour wait whilst Lady Gaga was on was definitely not worth it!

Better than Maiden, 'tellin yer, lid!

If I was going I think I'd be a bit pissed off if Muse headlined.
